Meet Abby Corriveau Sandpoint Idaho.Meet Abby Corriveau owner of Integrative Athlete
Abby Corriveau developed her interest in athletics later than some. What started off as a quest to attain a more attractive body quickly transformed into an inspired journey as she discovered intuitive disciplines outside the confines of workout machines. Abby is an active practitioner and instructor of yoga and follows the Ashtanga yoga tradition. She is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance and is a certified kettlebell instructor (RKC) and experienced personal trainer as well (AFAA certified).

Abby’s respect for her teachers Alicia Golden, Jennifer Elliott, Kate Hallahan, and Jen Fleisher is very apparent and credits them for her growth as an individual and as a teacher. You can see the love and respect she has for Guruji and his teachings by the way she glows when she talks about him and in her dedicated daily practice. Her love for the purity of Ashtanga and her intuitive touch are why her students are drawn to her teachings even though she is only 24 years old. They say she has an old yogi soul. Abby has also studied with Tim Miller, Kino MacGregor, and Michael Gannon and plans on traveling to Mysore in 2010 for the first time.

Abby just recently opened a business in Sandpoint, Idaho with her significant other offering Ashtanga Yoga, kettlebell fitness, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Their philosophy at The Integrative Athlete is to create an atmosphere where the “yin and the yang”, the feminine and the masculine can come together and complement each other completely. It is a place with energy that is contagious and students can balance their bodies and their minds while reaching their higher consciousness.
